Project details

Bytco Hospital- Nasik Municipal Corporation

I had the opportunity for design and implementation of the HVAC system for Bytco Hospital, Nasik Municipal Corporation. This project included the installation of a water-cooled chiller plant with three 125 TR units located in the lower basement. Given the critical nature of healthcare facilities, my work required precise planning, detailed load calculations, and careful coordination with structural engineers to ensure the safety and reliability of the installation.

  1. Comprehensive HVAC Plant Design and Installation

Designing the HVAC system for Bytco Hospital involved unique challenges, including the installation of three 125 TR water-cooled chillers in the lower basement. This location required precise planning to ensure efficient airflow, heat dissipation, and easy maintenance access, despite the space constraints.

I carefully selected high-efficiency chillers to handle the hospital's diverse cooling requirements, from patient rooms to operating theaters, while minimizing energy consumption. The chilled water distribution network was meticulously designed to reduce pressure losses and ensure consistent cooling performance throughout the facility, supporting patient comfort and medical equipment reliability.

  1. Infrastructure and System Integration

In addition to the HVAC system, I managed the integration of supporting infrastructure, including water distribution, electrical connections, and mechanical supports for the basement chiller plant. This involved detailed coordination with the electrical team to ensure the power supply could handle the significant load of the chiller units.

As well as the integration of backup power systems to prevent downtime during power outages. By focusing on both mechanical efficiency and electrical reliability, I helped create a stable, energy-efficient cooling system that supports the critical operations of Bytco Hospital, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
